Biography
Mücahit Özel was born in 1952 in Sivas, Turkey. He has completed his primary school in Sivas (Eğerci, Gemerek) and completed secondary and high school degree in Kayseri. In 1979, he was gradutated from Academy of Fine Arts, İstanbul from Sculpture division. Between 1980-1997 he has led many stage decorations inside İstanbul State Teather. Today, Mücahit Özel still works independently creating his work of art.
Unique Pieces
All works are unique hand-made pieces. Metal works are welded every single piece. Wood works, on the other side, are all carved from a single piece of tree root.
